HISTORY

The Steel Engineering Development Company is a limited liability company whose shares are solely owned by MIS Khalifa Juma Al Nabooda abd Abdulrahman Saif Al Ghurair. SED was established in 1981 to develop and provide custom manufactured lift and escalator stainless steel finishes.

SED is now widely recognized as the leading manufacturer for these custom finishes through out the Gulf, being an approved vendor to a number of the world's largest lift manufacturer.

THE DESIGN TEAM

Our Design teams are constantly required to adapt to specific customers needs offering challenging solutions and designs to take the project from conceptual design and the drawing board to reality using traditional materials together with the latest technology.

Quality and safety are a prime pre-requisite ensuring the relevant and world codes of practice are strictly adhered to in our engineering designs.

DESIGN AND DRAWING SERVICES

Today's fast and competitive business environment requires that the manufacturing function of a company must be able to quickly adapt itself to new and integrated design changes. Our dedicated design and drawing services inturn provide design, shop and fabrication drawings and CNC programs for production.

PRODUCTION CONTROL

From conceptual design our Managers ensure the smmoth production and completion of our client's orders.

Our electronic production programs, together with CNC machines enable us to deliver our products on schedule.

RAW MATERIALS

The range of stainless steel finishes are extensive chosen from the world's finest quality is supplied.

MATERIAL QUALITY CONTROL

All our materials are subject to various inspection at every stage of manufacture through to dispatch.
