Otis L.L.C started its business in UAE in 1975 and was known as United Development Company. It was the sole agent in the country for all Otis products. From 2002, Otis Elevator Company has taken over the operations and full responsibility for the sales, installations and continuing maintenance of Otis products. OTIS in the UAE is a pioneer of the elevator and escalator industry and is proud to have been the first company to have installed an elevator, escalator and moving walkway in the country. The Company operates in the 7 Emirates and has offices in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Its offices are electronically connected for instant communication. A number of technicians are factory trained on the installation, service and repair of its equipment. Skills are regularly refreshed through local theoretical and practical trainings by OTIS experts.
