Middle East Container Repair Company LLC

The Company was established in 1981 after his Highness, the Ruler of Dubai gave permission to a container repair facility in Port Rashid. In 1994, MECRC opened its second workshop in Mina Zayed, Abu Dhabi and in early 2001, opened its third workshop in Jebel Ali.

Since opening in 1981, the Company has used its skills to increase the services offered to its clients. An example of this is the fact that MECRC was the first Company in the Middle East to have IICL certified Inspectors.

All container inspections and repairs are carried out to International Standards and materials used are as per the Industries specifications. In Jebel Ali, the Inspection Department operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in order to process customer containers quickly. Inspectors are trained to IICL, Unicon and the other standards required by the various Shipping Lines.

For reefer service, we have been appointed as the local Depot for Carrier Transicold, Thermo King Corp, Daikin, Mitsubishi and Star-cool, P.T.I's Pre-cools, and cleaning as well as, normal repairs are carried out in the workshops. Re-foaming of reefer insulation is also carried out in the structural workshops. There are four mobile units to attend to reefer repairs throughout the U.A.E.

Apart from competitive rates for high standard repairs, other advantages we have are that, we utilize the waiting time of the container in the Port to carry out customer requirements and save possible future down time. Also, because we are located adjacent or close to the Container Terminal, transport costs are minimal.

All services and facilities offered to clients are the same or similar in each workshop.
