Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Prepare the company’s annual budget in coordination with the Group Financial Controller and General Manager.
- Gather and filter financial data from departments, input into financial models, and produce accurate forecasts.
- Enhance and maintain financial models to generate systematic management reports
Financial Reporting & Compliance
- Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Implement and manage accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Ensure timely reconciliation of monthly account statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Review and update bank facilities and company authorization matrix with the GM.
Cash Flow & Treasury Management
- Authorize payments after verifying validity and fund availability.
- Forecast payment schedules to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Manage cash on deposit to optimize returns without loss of interest.
- Negotiate deposit terms with banks, prepare statements, and arrange fund transfers.
Payroll & HR-Linked Finance
- Review and upload monthly salaries on WPS in coordination with HR, ensuring all changes and deductions are validated.
- Ensure HRMS data is timely updated.
- Calculate employee benefits (end of service, leave settlements, etc.).
Collections & Receivables
- Oversee collections and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Review bank reconciliations monthly and resolve any issues promptly.
Data Management & Archiving
- Ensure data backup, organization, and secure archiving of financial records.
Administrative Oversight
- Oversee administrative processes including office services, vendor contracts, and renewals.
- Coordinate with HR, PRO, and other departments to ensure timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Abilit to work independently, to finalize the F/S with auditors, deal with banks, suppliers, customers, FTA, and colleagues.
Education/Qualification
- Degree level education
- Bachelor commerce Finance/Accounting
- Professional Financial Qualification highly desirable (CPA / CA /ACCA/ CMA/CIA/CFA)
- Experience (experience required for the job)
- Minimum 5 to 7 years with relevant business.
- 3 years minimum experience as a Chief accountant or a similar role in UAE, with accounting degree.
